Scientific study shows that spaces where we spend a lot of time – like our homes – have a big influence on our emotional, social, and professional lives. This has never been more true than it now. Big or small, renovations can vastly improve a person’s emotions and productivity! We teamed up with Etch Design Group to breathe more light into this Seaholm downtown condominium.
Kitchen Remodel:
During the demo portion, we disconnected all of the plumbing and hauled off all the the previous countertops and cabinetry. Recessed canned lights were removed in order to accommodate new lighting selected by Etch Design Group. New custom built cabinets were installed after being sprayed in a light grey. On top of those, quartz with deep gray veining were laid down. These same countertops were also used for the custom-fabricated island, which had a four-legged bottom and featured a trash pullout. We installed two pendant lights to hang over the island. Etch opted to add under strip lighting outlets that were hidden under lip of the custom cabinetry.
Bathroom Remodel: The entire bathroom was gutted out! This included demoing out the cabinets and removing all the floor tiles. Two sconce lights were added around the vanity mirror. In the shower, new shower fixtures were installed, including a new hand sprayer and a new linear drain. On the floor, we installed ceramic tile, penny style tile, and a beautiful tile surrounding the shower made of a vertical hexagon pattern. The shower area was completed with a beautiful new custom-built shower door. The cabinetry was the last installment, with new countertops and a backsplash.
