Our Windridge Addition is well named because of the added value our team built into this newly remodeled home. We added an entire addition (brand new square footage!) onto this beautiful home, adding more functional and beautiful space for the whole family to enjoy. This whole house renovation included a complete kitchen, primary bath, fireplace, laundry area & powder bath remodel, as well as the addition of a new bathroom space upstairs, a revamped staircase, and a tub to shower conversion. The exterior of the home also got some love, including new paint, posts and exterior lighting. This home transformation is truly stunning, full of custom touches for the whole family to enjoy.
KITCHEN
The kitchen was completely gutted and modernized with 10 new can lights, a pendant light over the sink, new quartz countertops and backsplash, plus a combination of custom cabinets in paint grade and clear coat white oak. We relocated the vent hood over the brand new island, and we added a recessed beam that allowed us to remove the previous support columns that were blocking the view from the kitchen. This one adjustment creates much more open sight lines and improves the flow between the kitchen, eating and living areas. Three new windows and a new collapsible sliding door were also added to increase usable space and brighten the dining and living areas.
LIVING ROOM & STAIRS
In the living room, we demolished the existing fireplace framing and tile to install a built-in banquette. The entire living area, along with the rest of the house, received new engineered hardwood floors and a full interior repaint. Additionally, the old railing on the stairs was removed and replaced with a new pre-fabricated steel railing.
PRIMARY BATH
The primary bath underwent a full renovation, featuring 11 can lights, a decorative fixture over the tub, and three pendant lights. The space was reimagined with a new tub, a custom shower build-out with niches and a pony wall, and two glass panels. A full overlay, walnut custom double vanity, new quartz countertops, backsplash, and tile flooring completed the transformation.
POWDER BATH
We love a dark and dramatic powder bath, which was a perfect choice for this space. We updated the space with all new electrical outlets, lighting, a deck-mounted faucet, a new mosaic Gloss Jasper vanity tile wall, wallpaper, and hardware.
UPSTAIRS BATH
The second upstairs bathroom was converted from a tub to a curbless shower with custom shower niches and a frameless door. Black Mosaic Chalkboard Lattice Weave tile from Daltile and black hardware contrast dramatically with the white cabinetry and countertop quartz selections.
BRAND NEW BATHROOM ADDITION
Converting an old attic space into a brand new en-suite bathroom proved to be an invaluable addition to this home. After framing and drywalling the space, we installed a playful, fun Ann Sacks Terrazo floor to contrast with the solid Ann Sacks Night Owl shower tile and white cabinets.
