Our clients at our Skelly W Residences project loved the location and basic layout of their condominium, but they wanted to give their space a more updated look. One of the biggest changes that made a difference to the entire condo was our application of a venetian plaster on the walls of the entry, living, dining and primary bedroom areas.  This venetian plaster warms the entire space and gives it a distinctly different look from every other condominium in the building!

KITCHEN/DINING:

We demoed out the existing kitchen cabinets, countertops, appliances and vent hood and installed new engineered French oak flooring, cabinetry, countertops and backsplash in their place. The Grey Goose Quartzite countertops really are a show stopper in this space.  Another fun custom detail in this renovation is the custom mirrored glass window we installed to the left of the kitchen.  This window appears a mirror to reflect light in the kitchen and provide privacy for entrance into the guest suite. However, from the guest suite, the mirror is a window that allows guests to look out! We added new lighting in the dining room with integrated LED strips to illuminate the space.

LIVING ROOM:

In the living room we prepped the walls for the installation of a large piece of marble slab, custom built ins and and electric fireplace.  All three of these elements lend an elevated look to this clean, refined space.

POWDER BATH:

For a better traffic flow into the powder bath near the front entryway, we resized the door and reversed the door swing. This powder bathroom received a new Blue Tempest Quartzite vanity, mirror, cabinets, marbled mosaic floor tile, fixtures and wallpaper.  One fun fact about this wallpaper – it is made from recycled newspapers! Now that’s a great way for the news to be uplifting AND beautiful!

ENTRYWAY: In the entryway, our clients had AV equipment that needed to be stored above the entry closet. However,  the heat from the equipment necessitated a way to allow the equipment to “breathe” while it was being stored. To solve this dilemma, our contractors made and installed a custom liftable panel door that blended with the white oak paneling design but also allowed for better functionality. We love it when good design and useful functionality come together!

PRIMARY SUITE/BATH: To add interest and detail, we installed a white oak tambour accent wall and integrated all AV for the room behind the accent wall. New pendant lighting and venetian plaster also warms the space.  In the primary bath, the first item to grab our eyes is the Pietra Carrara Gessato fluted primary bath walls.  We gave this bathroom a new layout, new black forest leathered granite countertops,  and new cabinets, tile and fixtures.  Nero Chateau & Custom Chevron tile adorns the floor areas!

We replaced the shower glass with an eye-catching black steel framed door. We also installed a rain shower head for added functionality. Due to working in a commercial condo, we were not able to trench into the floor for the standing tub plumbing. Our contractors solved this dilemma by building a small platform for the tub to sit on, which allowed us to hide all the needed pipes and plumbing under the platform. We love those Skelly creative geniuses at work!

GUEST SUITE: We build some other cool updates in addition to the secret mirrored window side entrance into the kitchen area. A new black steel main entrance (with side light) off the entry way welcomes guests upon arrival to this beautiful suite. New wallpaper, paneling and sconces update the bedroom area and black forest leathered granite countertops & vanity mirror, paint grade cabinets, plumbing & lighting fixtures give the bathroom a fresh look and brand new functionality.

We transformed every nook and cranny of this condominium into a classy, timeless home that our clients can enjoy for many years to come. What can we do with your condominium space? Contact us today!
