Today we get to take you upstairs and outside of our client’s dream home renovation at Skelly Great Hills Abode. If you missed part one of this fantastic transformation, be sure to catch it here. We still can’t decide if we want to hang out in the kid’s area or the pool cabana…anywhere indoors or outdoors in this amazing new space is such a dream!
KIDS STUDY/CHILL AREA & BATHS: Our homeowners designed this renovation with the whole family in mind. The parents each got their own separate workspaces/offices, and the kids also needed a designated area to play, learn, and rest. Built-in desks on each wall and Driftwood cabinetry with floating shelves installed for storage above create the perfect individual space to study, work or read. For a more relaxed vibe, we installed fluted wainscot on the walls painted SW Topiary Tint for a fun, light color and crafted a custom daybed to hold several lounging kids who want to just “chill” out. The space is finished out by our installation of an Austin Toile wallpaper that depicts scenes around the room of our beloved ATX!
GIRLS/BOYS BATHS: Nothing went untouched in this reno, including both bathrooms upstairs which received with new cabinets, hardware, paint and fixtures!
The only thing better than enjoying all the many new interior spaces of this renovation is stepping outdoors to the backyard and beholding another incredible transformation outside.
OUTDOOR KITCHEN: One big goal for our clients was to create several cozy places to gather with friends and family. This back patio and backyard is a hostesses dream! Every corner resonates with warmth and hospitality, leaving guests with an impression of both luxury and comfort. Arizona Tile covers the concrete of the patio to give a softer, more uniform look to the space. A new beverage fridge, grill, vent hood and granite countertops await for an outdoor cooking space, and comfortable seating + ceiling fans take care of the rest. One of the best parts of this patio is its easy access to the main kitchen of the house, just in case something is forgotten from the inside fridge!
NEW POOL & POOL CABANA: Many people who add a brand new pool to their backyard would also like to add a new outdoor space for showering and changing. Our newly added pool cabana at our Skelly Great Hills Abode serves as an oasis for both rejuvenation and productivity, be it a vigorous workout or an invigorating outdoor shower after a dip in the pool. This area is complete with an outdoor shower, an indoor bathroom, and a spacious workout area.
No matter where you step in this Great Hills Abode, you are sure to find a thoughtfully designed, functional yet beautiful space which can be enjoyed as a family for many years to come.
