The Story Behind the Build

Designer: Hello Kitchen – Photographer: Sophie Epton Photography

Our Jollyville Transitional kitchen began with a focus on custom modern, sleek cabinetry. Skelly Build created a skinny shaker style door by constructing flat slab panels and adding 3/4’’ trim pieces for functionality. We painted the upper cabinets in Agreeable Grey by Sherwin Williams and applied a natural satin clear coat stain to the rift sawn white oak lower cabinets.  We added Calcatta quartzite countertops with gorgeous veining and Zelliege weathered white backsplash from Cle Tile. We installed satin nickel appliances, Cedar and Moss matte black sconces, a farmhouse sink, and grass weave hemp neutral window shades to complete the elegant design. Matte black pulls and knobs adorned the cabinetry to finish the look. Additionally, Skelly Build installed two sets of pocket doors to discreetly hide the pantry hutch and laundry appliances. The Espandana Grey porcelain tile floors, installed by Skelly Build, balanced the warm tones of the cabinets. The walls were painted in the charming Dove White by Sherwin Williams, creating a vibrant and welcoming space for the whole family.
