At Skelly Build, we love when a successful project leads to an ongoing relationship—and that’s exactly what happened at our Eanes Creek Residence. In Part 1, we partnered with Emily Lauren Interiors to reimagine the kitchen, living areas, and primary bathroom of this 1980s home. The result was a bright, modern transformation that opened up sightlines and connected the interiors to the lush, private backyard. Now, we’re back for Part 2: renovating two bathrooms and some external features that now complete the home’s look with thoughtful updates and custom details.
We gave new life to the downstairs bathroom with a complete overhaul. This included demo, reframing, and the installation of new finishes that tie in with the overall aesthetic of the rest of the house. We introducing new fireclay Tusk tilework in the shower with a custom storage niche, clean quartzite countertops with bullnose edging, custom cabinetry, updated vanity sconces, and brass fixtures that feel cohesive with the home’s upgraded palette. The transformation created a spa-like feel in a formerly utilitarian space, turning it into a bathroom that feels as elevated as the rest of the home.
Upstairs, we tackled a bathroom that was due for both a layout and style upgrade. We reframed the space to allow for a new shower configuration with a new window, plus updated plumbing and electrical to meet the homeowners’ needs. The fireclay Magnolia shower tilework pairs beautifully with the honed quartzite countertops, modern cabinetry and polished nickel finishes. Custom cabinetry, updated lighting, and carefully selected fixtures now make this once-dated bathroom feel polished, functional, and bright—perfect for guests or kids alike.
Beyond the interior work, we also focused on refreshing the exterior elements of the home. This phase included new siding and other exterior finishes that enhance both curb appeal and durability. A key highlight was the renovation of the front porch, which now serves as a welcoming, well-crafted entry point to this fully renovated home.
From the beginning, this project has been about bringing a cohesive, contemporary vision to every corner of the home. With Part 2 now complete, we’re excited to bring this home across the finish line and give our clients a beautifully updated space—inside and out—that reflects the way they live today!
