Diana Skellenger is the founder of Austin-based residential construction firm Skelly Build. She enjoys creating beautiful, functional spaces that fit the homeowner’s lifestyle. As a female leader in the construction industry, she brings a special viewpoint that allows her passion for quality renovation, teamwork and integrity to be integrated into every project. Skellenger graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in public relations but found her true career passion when handling marketing with a title company, followed by a business development role at an Austin building and design firm. She founded Skelly Build in 2017, and soon after, her husband, Sean, joined as CFO. The firm employs a majority female workforce from project managers and materials coordinators to the estimator and permitting expert, a rare ratio in the industry. In her free time, Skellenger enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters (Atlas and Cleo) and traveling.
