Our client wanted a bathroom easily accessible from their backyard pool, which meant taking part of the garage to create a small bathroom that could be accessed by both the outdoor pool and by an indoor laundry room pocket room door.

Because it is a pool bathroom, one critical design feature was to fully tile the walls all the way up to the ceiling.  This is something to consider when you are redesigning your new bathroom.  Ask yourself, “How much water exposure will this bathroom get?” and then add the appropriate amount of wipeable, washable spaces accordingly!  Due to the heavy volume of WET traffic this pool-side bathroom will get, the client chose to tile all the way up to the ceiling—a smart choice!

THIS BATHROOM LOOK IS COMPLETE WITH OPEN SHELVING, A NEW MIRROR, SINK, AND FIXTURES, 2 NEW RECESSED CAN LIGHTS, AND A NEW VANITY LIGHT. A SIMPLE BLACK AND WHITE COLOR PALETTE MAKE THIS BATHROOM A TIMELESS CLASSIC FOR MANY GENERATIONS OF POOL USERS TO COME!
