The Story Behind the Build

In our Lost Creek Addition project, our homeowners are an active family with three energetic sons who had outgrown their 1970’s one-story home in the heart of Austin.They did not want to relocate but also needed more space for the boys to spread out, grow, and thrive.The parents envisioned an upstairs retreat designed just for the kids, complete with a TV /lounge area, built-in desks for schoolwork/crafts, and individual bedrooms and bathrooms for each child. Downstairs, they desired multiple areas for entertaining, spanning from casual movie nights with the kids’ friends to holiday dinners with extended family.  Every decision was guided by the family’s desire for a bright, functional, and cohesive space that could grow with them. From structural upgrades to thoughtful design choices, the result is a timeless transformation that balances form and function, and allows enjoyment of this home for many years to come.
