Our Rolling Hills Home project centered around a full transformation of the kitchen, laundry, and adjacent sunroom, starting with a detailed demolition that removed existing millwork, flooring, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and portions of the ceiling. Care was taken to preserve select elements like the existing washer, dryer, and dishwasher, which required intentional planning and protection throughout the demo phase. As with many remodels, once walls and ceilings were opened, the importance of field verification and structural coordination came into play. The plans called for removing walls and introducing new openings, which meant Skelly Build worked closely with the design team to confirm structural support and install new headers that seamlessly integrated into the final millwork design.
